OK - don't worry if you don't understand them - even when Samuel listened to the video he asked "mama, what are we singing?"

Spring Musical

Last Thursday was Samuel's end-of-year/spring musical - he was so cute getting ready for the singing (he LOVES to sing). They sang a song about sheep "I just want to be a sheep - baa, baa, baa, baa" and "Peter, James and John in a sailboat" The picture of the whole group turned out dark but here are some pics of the two cuties after -
More springtime fun
Lucy is feeling a little better today (I was writing the "what I googled last week" blog when I heard Lucy throw up - when I got back to the computer I just laughed and added the 404-250-KIDS to the list of things I used the computer for last week). Jeremy took yesterday off to be with cutie pie and
I am off today to be with her - and await Papa's arrival! Here are some pics from our time outside last week - when the wind was blowing and it was a little cool - I think those days are behind us. These pics were taken on top of the hill in our backyard - in the last shot you can see our garden below...

Things I googled last week...
OK - I haven't had time to share much more than the facts of our lives in a while. I still don't have the mental energy or time but I thought I would share with you some of the things I googled in the past week or so to give you a glimpse into the life of one slightly scattered redhead...
1. Henry County Police Department Office - I had to find the address to the office so that I could pick up a police report of our burglary to turn into State Farm for insurance purposes.
2. Coral Snakes - Samuel is fascinated with snakes and wanted to see some "bad" snakes. I even snuck in a rattler or two.
3. how to get ink out of dryer - Yes, I washed a pen with my white nursing uniform on Tuesday and ruined a whole load of whites and painted my dryer with ink in the process. There are many suggestions for getting it out - finger nail polish remover, elbow grease and bleached towels seemed to do the trick.
4. Calcium Oxide - My husband (AKA the mad scientist) did science experiments in our kitchen one night. The next evening as I was preparing dinner and trying to clean up the "laboratory" I dropped the bottle of powder on my clothes, the floor etc. The first thing I noticed was the DANGER! CAUTION! CORROSIVE!! sign on the side of the bottle - I wasn't sure what it was so I thought I would quickly google to make sure I didn't mix it with something that would eat through me or blow up. I made it out unscathed but the cake pan used in the experiments was not so lucky.
5. Rhamdomyolysis - it is a severe complication of myopathy - I needed to do some research for a client I worked with this week.
6. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Nurse Line - Lucy's had a low grade fever for a few days but was fine today until she woke up tonight with 104 fever and throwing up. A long night ahead

Time with Nana and the Uncles
After our whirlwind weekend with Mama's side of the family (the weekend before Easter)- Daddy took us to spend a few days with Nana in Tampa. Daddy, Lucy and I got to play with Uncle Christian and Uncle Jacob and spend some time on the beach with Nana (while Mama stayed at home and went to school). Here are some pictures of our time at a park - Thanks Gary for the great pics!!!

More Lee Day

Some of you may have heard - last week we had an unexpected intruder that decided to permanently take some of our electronics (Mama and Daddy told Samuel and me that we lost them but the truth is it was a "bad robber" as brother would say if he knew the story but we'll keep him in the dark a while longer on this story). We are all fine but we were ready to head to Florida for a trip to see Grandma-mama/Papa and Nana for our spring break. Mama put these pictures on the blog while we were at Grandma-mama's this weekend so they are all out of order - but here are some more fun pics of the cousins, playing and some parade watching at the 100 year anniversary of the founding of Lee.
