Fun with Food

This week I got to have some fun meals. Here are two of my favorites -

A meal fit for a PIRATE! Mama made me a yummy dinner she said a pirate would love - little octopi, a coral reef, some seaweed and some sand dollars. I ate almost all of it and enjoyed my meal. Ever since I was a little guy - Mama and I haven't enjoyed meals together very often - SO when Mama gets a peaceful meal she is happy and so am I - ARGHHH!

Our other special meal was in celebration of Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A. If you dressed like a cow you got a free meal. Our while family got to eat and all we bought was some fruit! We had a good time and saw our friends Addyson and Emma Kate. We also saw other friends and got to play. Lucy even had a cow tail - I had a shirt that said I (L)UV CHIKIN! Here I am with my friends and with the cow!

I've gotten lots of other yummy meals this summer. Daddy makes pizza and fish sticks for us and gives us lots of yummy grapes. Thanks Dad for all the pizza - I love pizza!

The Macaroni Song

Lucy and I dancing to the "macaroni song"
....stuck a feather in his cap and called it macaroni!

A Yankee Doodle Dandy of a Day!

July 4th!

Lucy and I had a great time at the Independence Day festival yesterday. We got to play and walk around and enjoy the day - we even saw people dressed funny. Mama said they were people dressed like people dressed when our country was born. I thought it was funny.
Lucy found a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb - Lucy found a little lamb and lamb licked the lunch off her dress.
I was so excited to see a fire truck parked nearby - Lucy and I got to sit on it! Yippee!

Daddy pushed me on the swing and I loved swinging under the trees. I also got to play in a bounce thing that was so fun.

One happy helper!

OK - since mama thinks she knows how to post videos now - she might over do it a bit - just bear with her. OK - this video features me. About a month or two ago, Daddy told me to go and clean my room and when Mama came in to check on me this is what she saw.....

"I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, down in my heart to stay.....And I'm so happy, so very happy, I've got the love of Jesus in my heart!..."

Watch This!

Mama finally figured out how to make us come alive! Here is her first shot - Lucy enjoying Watermelon!

A few more

I was most fascinated by the pirate who wandered around all day - before we left I got my picture taken with him. I had pirates on my brain because I saw my first movie in the theater this week - The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. Daddy took me to watch it one morning with my friends, Torbin and Thomas. I loved seeing the big movie and adding my own commentary - Daddy was glad it was a special, free, showing just for kids so it didn't matter if I asked lots of questions throughout!

There is cute Lucy! She brought mommy sticks while I played on the swings.

Watermelon girl

Lucy loves watermelon. Mama had been cutting off chunks of watermelon for Lucy to eat all afternoon and Lucy finally got a hold of a big piece and dug in. Mama thought Lucy was so cute eating her watermelon she would just let her enjoy the simple pleasure of watermelon, yankee doodle dandy playing in the background and watermelon juice dripping down her chin.

Artists in training

Severa mornings ago Mama took the morning off and played with us before she went to school. We had a great time drawing and coloring and pretending that what we drew actually looked like something. Lucy is especially good at getting chalk all in her mouth!
