Birthday Fun!
OK - after a good night's sleep and seeing my friends at church this morning I'm ready to share more about my big day yesterday. When I woke up in the morning I saw the balloons and the streamers Mama and Samuel had hung the night before (mama let Samuel stay up after I went to bed and help her decorate and put out my present...he was so excited for me to get up in the morning!!!). I will say the balloons were the highlight of the day for me - Samuel and I played with them all day since we had to be inside on a wet, rainy day -

I was very excited about my kitchen upgrade (I had a baby kitchen I have played with for the past year and 1/2 that is for kids who can't stand up - this one is for those on two feet!) This one will go great with the kitchen cabinet Mema and Big Papa gave me for Christmas! Mama is excited she found it at a consignment sale for $30!

Samuel gave me a few things I was excited to play with - a baton, coloring book and a slimey caterpillar - Thanks Samuel - I love you!

We ventured to the library and to Publix in the rain storms yesterday - I was hoping to play in the mud puddles but the lightning and thunder kept us inside. We did get to play in the rain earlier this week - I'll share those pics later. Here are a few other pics from the day - my cupcakes (I just ate the m&ms off the top) and the decor - Samuel helped Mama with -
Samuel helped Mama decorate this old goldfish box and make it a holder for our pinwheels. Mama also made some coffee filter flowers for decorations that didn't seem to make the pictures.
I LOVE M&M's -

Birthday Cards!
Thanks Uncle Pat, Aunt Ann, Madison and Samantha for my card and my gift! I LOVED the card with the "kitty's" on it. Samuel told me it had a "2" on it also but I was more interested in the "bawoons" and "kitties". Mama and Daddy were surprised at how long I played just with my cards from you and Mimi and Big Papa. Mama didn't have the camera ready for the card opening but after my intense interest she broke it out and captured the second card opening -
It's a card from Mimi and Big Papa - "look!"
Hey, this card sings - I love it!
"Yahh Me - YaaahhH, Meeee!" {Close, open, repeat often with a little "yay, ME" after each time!}

Who knew singing cards could be so much fun!! Thanks MiMi and Big Papa!

I'm TWO!
Today was my second birthday and I had so much fun! It's the end of a long hard day of playing, eating birthday cupcakes for breakfast, a trip in the rain to the library and playing with all my birthday balloons - Whew! What a great day! I'll fill you in on all the details later but in the mean time WATCH OUT WORLD...I'M TWO!!!

Adventures
Grand adventures of a three year old -
Samuel: "Mama, I can't wait 'til I'm a big boy and can take care of myself."
Mama: "What do you want to do when you are big and can take care of yourself?"
Samuel: "I want to fly on a plane all by myself."
Mama: "Do you want to fly the plane all by yourself or do you want to fly on someone else's plane by yourself."
Samuel: "I don't want to fly the plane I just want to fly without anybody with me like you or Daddy, but will you pack me a snack?"
Mama: "I sure will pack you a snack. What will you do when you go on a trip by yourself?"
Samuel: "Well, I will meet somebody and they will go on an adventure with me."
Mama: "Who is going on the adventure with you?"
Samuel: "Well, whoever tells me their name then I will take them on my adventure with them. If I ask them their name and they don't tell me their name then I will have to ask somebody else and then when somebody tells me their name then they can go on the adventure with me."
Mama: "That sounds like a good plan when you get big enough to go on a plane by yourself. But what will you do on your adventure?"
Samuel: "Maybe we will go flying a parachute...after we eat our snack."

One more
Ok - this one is like the other ones with Wyatt but it's a little different! I can't wait for him to grow up so we can play. Daddy asked Samuel if he liked meeting baby Wyatt and Samuel said "He's so little, he can't even play yet - but I showed him my new star wars guys." Just wait until Wyatt is scooting around - the three musketeers will have so much fun! Aunt Erin and Uncle Casey are doing a great job as parents and they're still a great Aunt and Uncle because they still have a huge stash of suckers we can get into when we come over!!
Chicken Coop
While we were at Papa's Farm we helped build a chicken coop. Of course we didn't actually help - we just watched (Samuel had to clarify when mama asked if he help he said "No, Mama we just watched!") But we did get to help get the new chickens - Samuel's favorite is named freckles and I like them all. I can't wait to get eggs from them the next time we are there!
"Here, chickie, chickie, chickie! Come on out of that box!"
A good ole farm boy at work
Miss Fearless loves the animals
Here's Samuel's favorite
Barbie (Aunt Erin's horse) watching the new additions to the farm.

Potato Planting Time
While we were at the farm it was time to start planting the garden. We started with Potatoes. While Grandma-mama and Papa got the garden ready I thought I would plant my own potatoes - Grandma-mama took all of my potatoes up and we planted them in rows - I thought my potato garden was better but grandma-mama says they grow better if you actually put them under the ground. I mean what is better than planting potatoes, bare-footed in your overalls!

More Fun on the Farm
As you know, while Mama was recovering from her surgery Samuel and I set off for fun at Papa and Grandma-mama's Farm. We had so much fun. I think Papa and Grandma-mama (that is what I call her now) would let us stay forever if we wanted but I think Mama and Daddy would miss us. Samuel and I got into some fun and some messes like this mess near the corn crib -

Baby Wyatt!!!
Cutie Pa-tootie
I turn two in just a few weeks and Mama says I am "all personality" and "independent". Here are a few pics from the last few months that show a little of me
I love my Papa - one morning before breakfast we played with the balloons Samuel got at Chick-fil-A. I don't know who laughed harder - me or Papa. Papa would blow the balloon up and let me hold it while the air went out - I would squeal and laugh and Papa would too. Thanks Papa, it's the little things in life that make it special!
I'm Mama's little chick-a-dee and here I am petting a little chick-a-dee -
Spring time cutie
I'm a cowgirl riding my sword pony and sporting my pink hat - I do like hats.
