Happy Birthday PAPA!!
We called Papa today to wish him a Happy Birthday! We don't have a webcam but here is a virtual look at us talking to Papa and telling him Happy Birthday!!! Lucy and I were getting ourselves dressed (with hats and shoes and backpacks) but we took a pause to talk to our Papa. We love you Papa and miss you!

Leaving on a jet plane
As some of you know this is Fall Break for Daddy and me but it's the first round of tests for mama this semester SO we decided to leave her at home and head to Boston and Maine to visit Daddy's family. (Daddy was born just outside of Boston and most of his aunts and uncles still live there.)
We are having a GREAT time. I met my great grandma Humphrey (and her cat), my great grandpa Abelli and got to spend time with my aunt Donna, cousin Renee, aunt Carolyn, Uncle Glenn, Uncle David, Aunt Debbie, Aunt Mary, Uncle Brian and counsin Amy. We will be back this weekend and I'll tell you more but I thought I would post a few pictures..

Happy Anniversary!
Yippee!!! Grandma and Papa have been married for 35 years (as of yesterday). I'm so glad they got married, had Mama and Uncle Casey and now are around to love on me. We love you Grandma and Papa and are so grateful for your love for each other!

Pretty Pretty Princess
Lucy loves to be home with Mama in the mornings while Mama studies. Here she is keeping Mama from studying! She's just too cute!
Lucy loves girly things. I am quick to remind Mama that I am a boy and Daddy is a boy and She and Lucy are girls. I am learning to color but Lucy really likes to color and play with stickers. She also likes bubbles. She likes to blow bubbles so much that Mama emptied out a bubble bottle and lets her pretend to blow bubbles whenever she wants inside - one day Lucy might realize what Mama did - hopefully she won't be traumatized by the never bubbling bubbles.
Wild adventures
"Mama, will you put this in your ear?" I guess Mama was patiently waiting her turn to get pumped up while I put on the ski goggles and pumped Lucy up with air. I guess Mama wanted a turn (or was she just trying to catch the moment on camera?).
I am a 'hunter-man'. I have on my gloves (Daddy's dirty socks) and I am going to kill a deer with my sword. I packed my new backpack with toys so that I can play with them while I am hunting and I have my lantern. Mama thought I might be hunting giraffes (where did she get that idea from) but I am hunting deer to take to the zoo and feed the lions.
Family Relations
I'm very curious about letters and family these days... I asked Mama what started with the letter "c". I got a list of carrots, cars, crayons and Uncle CASEY. I asked mama how Uncle Casey was her brother. Mama gave an explanation about how they have the same Mama and Daddy (Papa and Grandma). She also tried to tell me about how I was her son and Lucy was her daughter and that is why Lucy is my sister. She also said that Daddy was her husband because they are married. I guess that makes Lucy my husband because I told mama Lucy and I were married.
Mama took me to the allergist to see if we can avoid surgery on my massive tonsils and adenoids. No allergies but it did spark a conversation about doctors and nurses. Mama told me that when she finishes school she is going to be a nurse. I then had to ask "but then who will be my mommy?" - Mommy quickly let me know that she will always be my mommy. Mama had a hard time with that one.

Overheard
"Lucy, I'm cross with you for flushing my poopoo down the potty!" (Mama thinks I might have too much British literature influence - or is it Thomas? AND she can't understand how important it is that I flush my poopoo not somebody else - I'm grown up now and have to do it by myself!)
"Daddy, look it's my echo" (while looking at a shadow)
