Guess which child broke their radius (about a 20-25 degree bend/break) and has a buckle fracture on their ulna (the two bones below your elbow)? ...I'll give you three guesses
It's not this 1st born kid (but he does have some great freckles)
(I tried to make sure she didn't smile too much at the Orthopedist so they wouldn't see the missing tooth and she wore the long pants to cover the fire ant bites from sitting in the ant bed last week BUT her redheaded "feisty" spirit won out and she left smiling with a pretty pink cast not quite far enough up her arm but as far as the Ortho techs could get it and still hold her down.) Parenting is a seriously a humbling endeavor for which I am always grateful - I love these three and I'm so glad to get to care for them through it all.
1. Don't get it wet
2. Don't stick anything down in it
3. Don't use it as a weapon (I got wacked once by it already and we'll need to watch out for that flailing arm in the future - or atleast the next 6-8 weeks)
